Food was soooo good! We made a reservation and was surprised to see the dining room was closed when we arrived so weren’t sure what to expect, but we had a really great experience. Had a nice table in the room next to the bar, all of the food was so delicious and had great service. A little on the pricier side but I think worth it. Location is great and we stopped across the street for ice cream afterwards. Street parking but we got lucky with a spot right in front!

Jennifer and Tracy were clearly in a rush. I sat next to the Ghost of George Washington. This is the best spot for a kickback any night of the week. There’s a chill atmosphere until late and always the friendliest service (unless you’re bringing the beef). Food will fill your belly and music will fill your soul. P.S. Tammy is the best

I had an excellent time during my two night stay. The room was lovely, but the stars of the show were Maddy and Jordan in the restaurant. Their hospitality was above and beyond, even when I dropped a glass, shattering it in the middle of the bar. They handled our giant influx of unexpected guests on a Sunday with grace and aplomb. My wife and I stopped in here for lunch. Great spot. Pub like atsmophere in the bsrcarea with a separate dining area. Reasonable prices. Food was very good. We'll be back.

Temperance house was amazing. Clean, comfortable, and in a fabulous area with lots of stores and restaurants. The tavern was amazing with super nice bartenders and great food with a delicious new menu! We can’t wait to come back in the winter.

Jordan was alone on a lazy Sunday, but boy… can things change on a dime. Before you knew it, Temperance House was full to the gills. As guests began collecting inside, Jordan LOCKED in. All by herself, Jordan handled food and drink orders, checked on food at the window to ensure correctness, and ran food to where it belonged—all while maintaining rapport and professionalism with those watching her provide top notch service with one hand tied behind her back. 10/10 would come back just to watch Jordan serve others, let alone to be served by her.

We had another wonderful Mother’s Day brunch at the Temperance House. This is the fourth time we’ve had brunch there and it was magnificent. The food was excellent and the service was great. All of the mothers got a carnation on their way out, which was such a special touch. If you have not tried the Temperance House yet I highly recommended It. It is a five star restaurant, tavern, and hotel.
